EPL Risk Management Services: Supporting Our Insureds
In the first part of 2025, we introduced EPL Risk Management Resources through TDC Specialty HR Solutions, and we’re thrilled by the engagement we’ve seen so far. These services are designed to help our insureds proactively manage employment practices exposures with access to real-time HR expertise, compliance tools, and workforce training.
Some of the many resources include:
- Unlimited HR Advice: Real-time advice from certified HR experts supervised by employment attorneys, available across all 50 states.
- Employee Complaint Hotline: Access to an employee hotline to promptly address and mitigate the risk of unreported employee concerns.
- Training for Managers and Employees: Interactive online courses covering sexual harassment, discrimination, bullying, hiring, termination, and more.
- Multi-State Compliance Charts: A regularly updated resource created by employment attorneys that allows for easy comparison of HR compliance obligations across the U.S.
Insureds become eligible for this offer upon binding their primary EPL coverage on our Healthcare Organizations Management Liability policy form.
If you have any questions about this program, please reach out to Kristen Mielert, SVP and Management Liability Segment lead.
Medical Facilities—Automatic Renewal Process for 2026
We are excited to announce that we have implemented a zero-rate increase for 2026 auto-renewals.
How It Works
Accounts eligible for this program will receive a renewal quote 60 to 90 days ahead of the renewal date. Accompanying the quote will be a "no material changes" letter with questions that should take the insured just a few minutes to complete. This letter replaces the traditional renewal application and confirms the insured remains eligible for this automatic renewal process. Upon return of the letter and confirmation of no material changes, we’ll have what we need to bind coverage and issue the renewal policy. It’s that simple!
Eligible Accounts
Accounts meeting these parameters will be eligible for the program:
- Premium threshold: $35,000
- No confirmed losses
- Limits of $1 million/$3 million or less
- Primary, claims-made professional liability accounts only
- Deductibles of $25,000 or less
For questions about the automatic renewal program, please contact your Medical Facilities underwriter.
Government Relations: Advocacy That Protects Healthcare Professionals
As part of TDC Group, TDC Specialty insureds benefit from the strength of a national advocate committed to protecting healthcare professionals and the patients they serve. TDC Group’s Government Relations team is steadfast in its mission to defend medical liability reform and safeguard access to care. They work to preserve existing legal protections, prevent harmful legislation, and advance new measures that reduce liability exposure for clinicians across the country so that they can focus on delivering the best outcomes for their patients, not the constant threat of litigation or regulatory burden.
Legislative Monitoring: More than 150,000 bills are introduced each year in state and federal legislatures. The Government Relations team continually monitors legislation that impacts our members and insureds and advocates on your behalf. See the 2025 Legislative Update.
Through this ongoing advocacy, TDC Group reinforces its commitment to protecting those who care for our communities, and we are proud to bring that strength and support to our insureds every day.
Data Analytics Dashboards: Updated With the Latest NPDB Data
We recently introduced our data analytics dashboards—an exclusive tool designed to help top-performing brokers create value and differentiation for the hospital customers we serve together.
We’re excited to share that these dashboards have been updated with the latest NPDB data. The enhanced benchmarking tool allows you to filter and customize views using a range of exposure criteria, offering deeper insights and an improved user experience.
These dashboards are available exclusively to a select group of brokers. If you previously received access instructions from brokerportal@tdcspecialty.com but need a refresher, please contact the Business Development team for assistance.
We’re proud to continue investing in innovative solutions that support your success. As more data becomes available, we’ll continue to expand and enhance these dashboards to deliver even greater value.
Lending a Helping Hand
My Brother’s Table
In September, team members volunteered at My Brother’s Table in Lynn, MA. Through the support of donors and volunteers, the organization provides meals and a wide range of services to those in need. In addition to serving meals and providing them to homebound individuals, My Brother’s Table supports a family dinner program, serves at-risk seniors, and hosts a free weekly medical clinic.
During the visit, our volunteers made 450 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for grab-and-go lunches, helped prepare for the dinner rush where nearly 900 meals were served, and delivered nonperishable items donated by TDC Specialty employees in support of the organization’s efforts.
It was a rewarding experience that demonstrates how even small acts, like sharing a simple meal, can create a meaningful impact. We’re grateful for the chance to contribute to My Brother’s Table’s mission of nourishing their community every day.
TDC Specialty and Amwins Community Service Day
In October, we partnered with Amwins for a joint Community Service Day with Gemma Services, an organization dedicated to supporting children and families in the community.
The afternoon began with an introduction from the Gemma team, who shared more about their mission and the incredible impact of their work. From there, volunteers took on a range of fall projects including mulching, raking, and general outdoor cleanup to help refresh the grounds for the season.
We also donated pumpkins and art supplies for Gemma’s students to enjoy. It was a rewarding day of teamwork, connection, and community spirit, and we’re proud to support the meaningful work of Gemma Services.
Philadelphia Retailer Cocktail Reception
In October, our team hosted a memorable Retailer Appreciation Cocktail Reception in Philadelphia. The evening brought together our valued partners for great conversation, laughter, and a shared sense of gratitude for the connections that power what we do. It was a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the collaboration that drives our success throughout the year.
Adding a unique twist to the night, an aura photographer was on site capturing everyone’s individual networking energy—a fun way to see the vibrant spirit that keeps our partnerships thriving.
